Soul Togetherness USA
Rare Soul Weekender 2014

Soul Togetherness USA presents the second annual Soul Togetherness USA 'Rare Soul Weekender' taking place March 28th through 30th, 2014. Taking it’s cue from the weekend long events in Europe and the United Kingdom, STUSA will be bringing together an international cast of DJs and collectors of rare and obscure American soul music, all on original 45rpm vinyl, for this free weekend long festival. The event will include 2 “rare soul” dance nights, a record fair hosted by traveling record show “Beat Swap Meet,” a soul-centric bus tour of Chicago showcasing the sights and sounds and history of soul music from our city, and a wrap up all-day dance party.

STUSA Warm Up

Hosted by Disco Illusion

We are kicking off this year's Soul Togetherness USA Weekender at one of our favorite local spots with some of our favorite local DJs! Disco Illusion's Sol Son, Tone B Nimble and Darryn Jones, along with some of our weekender guests will be supplying fantastic tunes to get the weekend started Thursday night at Punch House in Pilsen. Punch House bartender, Carlos Matias, was recently voted "Best Bartender of the Year" by RedEye, with his fancied up party punches. What more could you ask for?! Lets get this party started right!
